Sheryl Lynne Pol passed away last month at the age of 77, and her daughter Jennifer Bailey honoured her with a hilarious recount of her mother’s awesomeness and wicked sense of humour. The woman, known as Nana, “passed away peacefully in her home” after a “long, hard-fought battle against Myasthenia Gravis.”
Bailey added how her “prayer warrior” mom was “rejoicing in Heaven” while being “embraced by a grumble of pugs.”
Pol was known for embracing her creative side, from embroidery, sewing and crafts — activities she shared with her family “and even enemies, if they asked nicely,” adding how “no visit was complete at Nana’s house without a stab from a rouge needle or pin.”
The late, apparently great Sheryl, “posthumously apologizes to Joann’s Fabric for her recent lack of shopping which likely led to their nationwide closure,” Bailey added, referencing the craft retailer, which shuttered all stores last month.
