Lego teases ‘multi-year’ Pokémon partnership, first sets coming in 2026

The Lego Group and The Pokémon Company are teaming up for new Lego sets.

As part of a new “multi-year” partnership between the companies, Lego Pokémon products will become available for the first time ever, starting in 2026. Specific sets weren’t revealed, but a brief teaser for the collaboration shows a Lego version of Pikachu’s tail alongside some electricity effects.

Given that Pikachu is the mascot for the whole Pokémon franchise, it makes sense that the electric mouse would be represented in some form with a Lego set.

For years, The Pokémon Company had a licensing deal with Mattel’s Mega Bloks and Mega Construx lines. However, many Pokémon fans have wanted official Lego sets for years, and as of 2026, they’ll finally get them.

In the meantime, fans can look forward to Pokémon Legends: Z-A, which hits the Nintendo Switch in late 2025.
