Re: ‘Appalling’; Tesla protests come to Ottawa, March 16
It’s ironic some people vehemently protest “unelected” Elon Musk. They likely don’t mind government waste and corruption being covered up.
There was no outcry when Justin Trudeau appointed “unelected” Mark Carney as his economic adviser. How did that go?
Also, Carney is only prime minister thanks to a few loyal Liberal insiders. The rest of us had no say. Now his first job is to run over to Europe so he can hide as long as possible before the federal election.
How demoralizing.

I hope to be proven incorrect, but mark my words, the Conservatives have likely already lost the coming election.
Prior to Justin Trudeau scampering off into the political sunset, Canada was heading to a change election. Wake up, Conservatives, the change has already occurred. That is no longer the focus. It is Donald Trump and his ill-considered, insulting and ignorant attacks on Canada’s economy and sovereignty.

To the Conservative message that Mark Carney “is just like Trudeau,” nonsense! Carney is as far from Trudeau as one could be. Whether you agree with his policies and direction or not, Carney is a serious, button-down banker, not the flighty, woke dilettante Trudeau was and still is.
Unless the Conservatives cut out the name-calling, such as “Carbon Tax Carney,” which mirrors Trump with his insulting name-calling, and quickly do an about-face in framing the harm a revived Liberal party will inflict with a fourth straight mandate, they face the same disastrous results of the two previous elections, when they also supposedly had the election “in the bag.”

CARNEY SHOULD BE GROUNDED
Mark Carney does not represent Canadians, only the self-serving Liberals who voted him as their leader, so he should not be jetting around the globe pretending he does.
If the Liberals had called an election when they should have, the people’s choice would be in power by now.
