Shilpa, 39, working as a staff nurse at a private hospital, was found dead under mysterious circumstances at her home in Suddaguntepalya on Thursday evening.
While her husband and his relatives have claimed that she ended her life, the deceased’s parents have alleged that the couple had a marital dispute as the husband was suspecting her fidelity and accused him of strangling her to death.
The Suddaguntepalya Police have sent the body for an autopsy and are waiting for the report to ascertain the exact cause of death. Meanwhile, they have detained the husband and are questioning him.
