The World Bank-aided Tamil Nadu Irrigated Agriculture Modernisation Project (TNIAMP) was on Friday presented with the National Award for ‘Excellence in Integrated Water Resources Management 2024’ by the Central Board of Irrigation and Power (CBIP), Government of India. The award highlights the TNIAMP’s success in addressing critical water resource challenges and promoting sustainable agricultural development, thereby setting a benchmark for future initiatives in the region, according to a release.
