Bharat Rashtra Samiti (BRS) MLAs T Harish Rao and Padma Rao Goud met Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy in his chambers in the Assembly for over 30 minutes raising suspicion among those present.
Mr. Harish Rao, who criticised the Chief Minister in the Assembly earlier in the morning, was closeted along with Mr. Goud. After coming out of the meeting, Mr Harish Rao clarified that the meeting was to seek release of funds for projects in Secunderabad represented by Mr. Goud.
He said ₹32 crore were released during the BRS regime to set up a high school, junior college and degree college in one place in Sitaphalmandi. However, the funds were stopped due to the election code. He said Mr Goud wanted him to accompany him to meet the CM and there was nothing much to read into the meeting.
