TGSPDCL secures 3rd rank in DUR-CSRD ratings

HYDERABAD

The Telangana Southern Power Distribution Company of Telangana (TGSPDCL) secured the third rank in the Distribution Utilities Ranking (DUR) and Consumer Service Rating of Discoms (CSRD) report 2023-24, released by the Ministry of Power. A total of 41 discoms from across the country competed for the top-honours.

Along with ensuring a high-quality and reliable power supply, to consumers, TGSPDCL excelled in the areas of faster approval of electricity connections, simplified regulations to avail various services with minimal paper work, accurate billing and proper metering with the implementation of IR port-based meters, prompt resolution of consumer complaints, ensuring accessibility of 99% of electricity-related services online through the company’s website and mobile app, eliminating the need for physical visits to the offices.

Chairman and Managing Director TGSPDCL Md. Musharraf Faruqui thanked the consumers, officials, engineers and staff for the achievement. He asked them to continue their efforts to further elevate the discom’s ranking and service standards.
