Ellen DeGeneres is Leaving the U.S. and Moving to the U.K.
Rosie O’Donnell is feeling lucky to be living in Ireland.
The comedian is happy with her decision to leave the United States back in January to start fresh with her 12-year-old Clay.
“I couldn’t love this child anymore,” Rosie said of her youngest, who she shares with late ex-wife Michelle Rounds, in a March 20 TikTok video. “They make me happy every day, and they’re doing so well here. I’m so, so proud and so impressed with their resilience. It’s not easy to move to another country, and we really felt as a family this was the safest and best thing for us to do.”
“It looks like sadly we were correct,” the 63-year-old added, “for what’s happening in the United States is overwhelmingly depressing, unconstitutional, illegal, criminal, and so so very sad.”
The View alum—who also shares kids Parker, 29, Chelsea, 27, Blake, 25, and Vivienne, 22, with ex-wife Kelli Carpenter—went on to condemn President Donald Trump and express her hope that “the world and the nation rallies against the current administration and their horrific ideas for what will ‘make America great again.'”
