Freedom Mobile discounts plans again, adds $45/100GB BYOP offer

Freedom Mobile rolled out some fresh new deals on Friday that will only stick around for a limited time.

Presumably, that limited time will be the weekend, but Freedom didn’t specify an end date for the deals. Regardless, here are the plans:

• $39/60GB – save $4/mo when you bring your own phone (BYOP).
• $49/100GB (includes 20GB bonus data) plus save $4/mo when you BYOP.
• $59/100GB – save $4/mo when you BYOP.
• $19/1GB.
• $29/6GB (previously 3GB).

Notably, all these plans include 5G+ data and North American roaming. Most of the plans include some ‘Roam Beyond’ data for use in over 100 destinations outside of North America. Weirdly, Freedom marked the Roam Beyond data as ‘new’ despite it all being available on plans for months.

Also of note is the return of the $19/1GB plan, which was briefly available last weekend. However, that plan caused quite a stir this week when customers discovered it didn’t have unlimited data like advertised. Freedom blamed it on a “technical issue” and fixed it on Thursday.

Again, it’s not clear how long these discounts will stick around (my guess is probably just for the weekend), so you may want to act quickly.

That said, Freedom has also offered the $4/mo discount three different times over the last couple months, so if you do miss out on this deal, you will probably get another shot at it next weekend.
