The Kurupumpady police in Kerala arrested a taxi driver on Thursday on the charge of sexually assaulting two children at their rented house at Kurupumpady, near Perumbavoor, for over a year.
The Ayyampuzha native was allegedly in a live-in relationship with the mother of the two sibling sisters aged 10 and 12 years old respectively. Their father died two years ago.
The police have registered a case under the POSCO Act.
They are probing whether the sexual assaults occurred with their mother’s knowledge.
