A 13-year-old boy from Toronto faces 11 charges and three other suspects are being sought after two residential break-ins and three other attempted break-ins in Markham.

York Regional Police said on March 9, officers responded to reports of two suspects breaking into residences in the area of Denison St. and Middlefield Rd.
Police said the suspects had attempted to gain entrance to at least two houses before successfully breaking into a home and stealing the keys to motor vehicles and stealing two vehicles from the driveway.
Cops said on March 11, officers responded to a residence in the area of Fonda Rd. and Golden Ave. for reports of a stolen vehicle.
Investigators learned that four suspects had attempted to gain entrance to at least one other house before allegedly breaking into a residence and stealing the keys to the victim’s vehicles and stealing two vehicles from the driveway.

Following an investigation, all four stolen vehicles were recovered in Toronto and one suspect, aged 13, was observed returning to one of the vehicles and was taken into custody by investigators.

The youth has been charged with four counts of theft of motor vehicle, three counts of attempt to commit break and enter and two counts each of break and enter commit and possession of property obtained by crime.
All suspects are described as wearing masks, hooded sweaters and track pants.
