Three transgenders arrested for stripping, beating and shaving head of another

Three transgenders were arrested by the police on Wednesday for stripping another transgender and brutally assaulting her after shaving her head near Central Bus Stand in Kalaburagi on Sunday last.

The victim was identified as Ankita. The accused are Sheela (Vijayakumar), Bhavani (Basavaraj) and Ankita (Ankush).

The incident reportedly took place when Ankita refused to share with them the amount she collected from people. The video footage of the heinous incident went viral on social media platforms. Then, a case was registered at the Ashok Nagar Police Station.
