I’ve been using the Samsung Galaxy S25 series for the past couple of months. I liked the hardware and even the One UI 7 experience. If you want to experience One UI 7 and don’t own an S25, you’re in luck; if you own any S24 series handset, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6 will get One UI 7 on April 10, and it will gradually roll out to more Galaxy smartphones and tablets.
One UI 7 has features like Now Bar, which provides real-time updates on a user’s lock screen. Other functionalities include AI Select, which can understand what’s on your screen and provide a variety of tools, like screen-capturing certain parts of your displays and quickly creating a GIF. Writing Assist lets you summarize or format content easily. Drawing Assist uses AI to create images in different styles, like sketches or cartoons.
Additionally, One UI 7 has deeper Google Gemini integration that lets you control the device more efficiently and integrate it with different Samsung first-party apps.
One UI 7 will be available on the Galaxy S24 series, Galaxy S24 FE, Galaxy S23 series, Galaxy S23 FE, Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6, Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Z Flip 5, Galaxy Tab S10 series, and Galaxy Tab S9 series. You can also learn more about One UI 7 in my review of the S25 Ultra.
