Colleen Hoover‘s next film adaptation has finally revealed its star.
Maika Monroe will play the lead role in the Reminders of Him movie, which was adapted from the bestselling author’s 2022 novel of the same name, Universal Pictures confirmed to E! News March 18.
The Longlegs actress will take on the role of Kenna Rowan, a young mother recently released from prison who is trying to reunite with her 4-year-old daughter in daughter in the film, which was first announced in October and is set for a Feb. 13, 2026 release.
And those aren’t the only details that have been uncovered about the upcoming adaptation. Vanessa Caswill is set to direct the film, while Colleen and Lauren Levine are writing the screenplay. Colleen and Lauren are also producing the film through their production company, Heartbones Entertainment, alongside Gina Matthews, who is producing through Little Engine Productions. Plus, Robin Fisichella will serve as executive producer.
E! News has reached out to reps for Colleen and Maika for comment but has not heard back.
