After leaving the restaurant — in the Steeles Ave.-Weston Rd. area — around 3 a.m. on March 2, three masked thugs with firearms approached the diner. A fourth suspect, also armed, stood a distance away, said police.

One of the suspects pointed a firearm at the diner, demanded the victim’s personal belongings and valuables and then struck that person with the back of the firearm, according to the allegations. A second thug took the victim’s wallet, cellphone, and jewellery, while the third suspect threatened to kill the victim.

The robbers fled, and the victim reported seeing two of them take off in a white sedan.

Police alleged that officers executed a search warrant last Friday, seizing evidence for their investigation as well as a loaded firearm, a magazine, an extended magazine, and ammunition.

Noel Daley, 40, of Toronto, faces 21 robbery, assault, drugs and weapon-related charges and Tyrone Ransome, 40, of Toronto, faces five robbery and weapon-related charges.

Police are hunting two outstanding suspects who are described as Black, 20-35 years old, with thin builds and wearing black clothing and balaclavas at the time of the robbery.
