Halton Police drug trafficking probe leads to 4 people being charged

Officers seized two handguns, ammunition, fentanyl, crystal meth and other narcotics as part of a four-month investigation, according to Halton Regional Police.

Police said officers charged four people after executing search warrants in Burlington, Oakville and Grimsby in February and March.

Officers allegedly seized two loaded Glock handguns, two loaded magazines (hollow point rounds), one extended magazine, and two boxes of ammunition. Also seized was 19.5 kilograms of cocaine, 1 kilogram of fentanyl, 100 ml of GHB, 138 oxycodone pills, 40 clonazepam pills, 10 grams of crystal meth and $42,750 in Canadian currency.

Ahmad Hassan, 34, of Oakville; Sarah Andersen, 43, of Burlington; and Duvontaye Gray, 29, of Grimsby, face drug charges. Suber Liban, 25, of Grimsby, has been charged with drug- and firearm-related charges.
